Hey everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since the last post.

I hope everyones exams went really well – even if they didn’t at least they are over

The summer is fast approaching. The best way to kick off Summer 2011 is with a casual event called ‘Alumni Day’.

I hope you all have your tickets and costumes sorted – if not, there is still time!

There has been chat going around that there will be no drinking allowed on the day, this is slander!

We just need to make sure we don’t take it to the extreme and show some respect to the Uni for the awesome day they are putting on for us!!

Thomas Moss gets England Cricket call up

After playing for his county on the side of his hockey career, Thomas Moss has finally got the call up he has always been wanting. The 21 year old scored a century for Gloucester against Warwick in the u21 game last Sunday, and happened to be watched by England scout Bob Cottom.

Well Done Mossy, hit a hundred for UOBHC.

Nick Murray has finally been spotted. The pace up the right wing was noted by Faulkner whilst representing the best team at the University – the 4s.

His first appearance is on the 31st June against the samba boys of Brazil.

He wants to give a big shout out to his coach this year, Mike Hawkins for training him up so well!

Lets wish him luck for his future as a hockey player.
